A Bit About Me
I’m Griffin Haag, a full-stack developer with a passion for building scalable web applications and back-end systems. I recently earned my Associate’s degree in Web Programming and Database Development at Dunwoody College of Technology and plan to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
My primary languages are Python, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, and C#, and I’m also skilled in Java, HTML/CSS, GitHub, Docker, and Jenkins. I enjoy creating projects from the ground up, blending code and design to build functional, engaging experiences. Along the way, I’ve worked with frameworks and tools like React, Bootstrap, Django, and Docker to bring ideas to life efficiently and at scale.
Outside of school and projects, I’m proud to be an Eagle Scout. The dedication, leadership, and problem-solving skills I gained through scouting shape how I approach every challenge in tech.
My interest in technology started at age nine when I began exploring computers and attending coding camps. Since then, I’ve built my own PC, developed websites for clients, and taught others the
fundamentals of programming.
What motivates me most is watching ideas evolve into real, working solutions. I love taking on challenges, learning new tools, and pushing through obstacles to see a project reach its full potential. If it involves creating, solving problems, or innovating with technology, I’m ready to take it on.

Web Projects for Clients:
SendMeAPostcard – Website for a travel agency
SheShuttle – Website for a private taxi company
Real Estate Website – Currently developing for a real estate agent
During high school, I completed courses in Intro to Computer Science, Computer Science A, and AP Computer Science. These classes sparked my passion for programming and gave me a strong foundation in coding concepts and languages.
03| Experience
2024-Present
iD Tech instructor
Teaching Python
After 9 years of attending iD Tech Camps, I was thrilled to become an instructor. In 2024, I was teaching teenagers how to program in Python. Over time, I have built awesome projects with my students and learned not only responsibility but also how to explain programming in a way that's easy to understand. I really enjoy talking about what I love and sharing my passion for programming, and this job has been very exciting for me.
2023-2025
Graduated from Dunwoody
Web Programming & Database Development
Earned an Associate of Applied Science in Web Programming and Database Development from Dunwoody College of Technology. My studies gave me a strong foundation in programming, database management, and software development, which I continue to build on through client projects and independent learning.
2023-Present
Developed personal projects
Python & Web Development
Over the past two years, I’ve built a range of projects that strengthened my programming skills and exposed me to multiple technologies:
-
Personalized Movie Generator – integrates with IMDb’s API to recommend films
-
Image & Webcam Recognition Software – Python-based computer vision project
-
Customizable Chatbot – powered by OpenAI’s API
-
Functional Online Store – full-stack app using JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
-
Client Projects (SheShuttle & SendMeAPostcard) – professional websites built for real clients
These represent only a portion of my projects.
2023
Began developing websites for clients
It all started with SheShuttle, a personal taxi business website I built after connecting with a driver who needed an online presence. This project showed me how much I enjoy working directly with clients and creating solutions that help their businesses grow. Since then, I’ve continued developing websites, including SendMeAPostcard (a travel agency site) and a real estate website currently in progress, and I’m excited to keep building more.
2018-2022
Comp Sci/UX Design classes
Programming/Web Dev classes in high school
My passion for programming continued; however, in high school it shifted more into developing beautiful websites. I found the languages came to me easily, and I also enjoyed the graphic design element of it. In high school I furthered my knowledge of JavaScript, C++, and Python. However, my greatest learnings in high school were how to complete a project before a deadline and how to assess how much time a project would take to complete.
2009-2021
Webmaster, Boy Scouts of America
As an Eagle Scout, I also served as the webmaster for my troop’s website, where I was responsible for maintaining and updating site content. This role gave me early experience in web management and reinforced the importance of consistency and communication.
Eagle Scout & Troop Webmaster
